ISSB Preparer Readiness Training

The IFRS Foundation and the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) are presenting a two-day technical training programme designed to support high-quality disclosures by helping preparers understand the requirements in ISSB Standards. The content will be learner-centric with a format that supplements presentation materials to enhance learners’ ability to recall important information and apply what they’ve learned within the context of their company.

This training is being organised by the IFRS Foundation and MASB in partnership with the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and with support from the main regulatory bodies in Malaysia responsible for adopting ISSB Standards. The IFRS Foundation will seek to gather information from participants in this initial event to assess and improve the training materials.

The in-person, two-day event will consist of training, Q&A, audience engagement exercises, breakout discussions and networking breaks with breakfast and lunch provided. The training will be carried out by ISSB Vice-Chair Sue Lloyd and ISSB member Verity Chegar

Who it’s for

Participants will include representatives from public companies, accounting professionals and other stakeholders involved in the application of ISSB Standards as well as organisations that run sustainability disclosure training.
