This training is being organised by the IFRS Foundation and MASB in partnership with the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and with support from the main regulatory bodies in Malaysia responsible for adopting ISSB Standards. The IFRS Foundation will seek to gather information from participants in this initial event to assess and improve the training materials.
The in-person, two-day event will consist of training, Q&A, audience engagement exercises, breakout discussions and networking breaks with breakfast and lunch provided. The training will be carried out by ISSB Vice-Chair Sue Lloyd and ISSB member Verity Chegar.
Who it’s for
Participants will include representatives from public companies, accounting professionals and other stakeholders involved in the application of ISSB Standards as well as organisations that run sustainability disclosure training. To participate, individuals from public companies preparing to apply ISSB Standards should have ESG reporting responsibilities. Eligible roles could include vice-president, director or manager of ESG reporting, ESG controller, or external reporting manager (registration is limited to one per company; additional registrants will be placed on a waiting list).
