Sessions on MFRS Application and Implementation Committee Activities

The Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) is organising a sharing session on MFRS Application and Implementation Committee (MAIC) activities. This Session is sponsored by the Capital Market Development Fund of the Securities Commission Malaysia. 

The Session will provide you with an update of the conclusions reached by the MAIC on various issues that you will need to consider in the preparation of your financial statements in accordance with the Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS). In addition, you will also being updated with the current work plan of the International Accounting Standards Board as well as the International Sustainability Standards Board.  

Some of the topics that will be covered in this Session include:  

• Updates on the MFRS application and implementation issues considered by the MAIC;
• What more can MASB do in supporting the application and implementation of the MFRS; and
• Updates on International Accounting Standards Board and International Sustainability Standards Board activities.
