ISSB-MASB Virtual Outreach – Request for Information: Consultation on Agenda Priorities

The Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) in collaboration with the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) is organising Virtual Outreach on the ISSB’s Request for Information Consultation on Agenda Priorities on 10 July 2023, at 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. UK time) via Zoom.

The Virtual Outreach aims at providing an overview of the Request for Information and a platform to solicit your views on the ISSB’s priorities for its two-year work plan. On 4 May 2023, ISSB published Request for Information Consultation on Agenda Priorities to seek views on:

(a) the strategic direction and balance of the ISSB’s activities;

(b) the suitability of criteria for assessing which sustainability-related matters (including topics, industries and activities) to prioritise and add to the ISSB’s work plan; and

(c) a proposed list of new research and standard-setting projects that could be added to the ISSB’s work plan. 

This is your opportunity to share your views directly with ISSB as its representative will be taking participants through the Request for Information outlining the ISSB’s priorities for a two-year period commencing in 2024. Your feedback is critical to shaping the ISSB’s mission to deliver a comprehensive global baseline of sustainability-related financial disclosures that meet the information needs of an entity’s existing and potential investors, creditors and other lenders.
