IFRS Advisory Council

The IFRS Advisory Council is the formal advisory body to International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and Trustees of IFRS Foundation. Its focus is to provide strategic support and advice to IFRS Foundation. A total of 51 organisations from across the world are represented on the Advisory Council, with 50 individual members. Members of the Advisory Council are appointed by the Trustees. Members include investors, financial analysts and users of financial statements, as well as preparers, academics, auditors, regulators, professional accounting bodies and standard-setters.
