MASB issues Request for Views on MFRS Glossary Translation (30 January 2014)

The Malaysian Accounting Standards Board (MASB) today published a Request for Views on MFRS Glossary Translation which aims to seek feedback from the public of the MFRS glossary translation in Bahasa Malaysia.

The MASB issued the Request for Views on MFRS Glossary Translation as it recognises the need for financial statements in Bahasa Malaysia to use consistent and updated accounting terminologies. The MFRS glossary translation in Bahasa Malaysia, when finalised, will serve as a reference for the preparers and users of financial statements as well as other interested individuals, organisations and academia.

The public is encouraged to provide their views to the MASB. The deadline to comment is 31 March 2014. The Request for Views is available on the MASB website.
